Norman Jones v. State Farm Ins
In October 2014 a wind and hail storm impacted much of the Ft. Worth area including the Jones’ property. A claim was filed with their insurance carrier of over 20 years for damage done to their tile roof. State Farms adjuster awarded $5,400 to repair the roof, which did not include multiple issues discovered by an independent appraiser. Several tiles had corners broken which State Farm claimed was not caused by wind or hail. The Jury agreed and awarded the following:

$50,000 Exemplary Damages
$242,000 Attorneys Fees
$65,000 Appellate Fees
